Baroni A - Researcher aimed to assess the efficacy of radiofrequency (RF) ablation in the treatment of xanthelasma palpebrarum, with D.A.S. Medical portable device (Technolux, Italia), a radiofrequency tool working with long-wave plasma energy and without anesthesia. Due to the low and tolerable pain stimulation, the procedure was very fast and could be performed without anesthesia. For treatment of xanthelasma palpebrarum, long-wave plasma radiofrequency ablation was an efficacious option and added an additional tool to the growing list of medical devices for aesthetic treatments.
