Khan MA, et al. - Authors aspired to illustrate the longer-term outcomes of 27-gauge pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) in eyes with posterior segment disease. The 27-gauge PPV was determined to be well tolerated, displaying low rates of postoperative complications across varied surgical indications, with the inclusion of primary and complex retinal detachment, at a minimum follow-up of 1 year.
