Long-term study of tubeless insulin pump therapy compared to multiple daily injections in youth with type 1 diabetes: Data from the German/Austrian DPV-Registry

Danne T, et al. - Glycemic control in youth with type 1 diabetes (T1D) who switched from multiple daily injections (MDIs) to a tubeless insulin pump versus continued MDI therapy over a 3-year time period was determinied. In contrast with MDI therapy, treatment with a tubeless insulin pump in youth with T1D exhibited a connection with improvements in glycemic control after 1 year. It was determined that tubeless insulin pump serves as an effective alternative to MDI.
