American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Nov 14, 2017

Foncatti CF, et al. - The long-term stability of the cephalometric changes obtained during Class II malocclusion correction with the Jasper jumper associated with fixed appliances was evaluated. With the Jasper jumper followed by fixed appliances during treatment, most dentoalveolar changes obtained remained stable in the long term. However, in relation to the control group, apical base relationship, maxillary incisor anteroposterior position, and overjet showed significant relapses. Thus, in the posttreatment period, active retention time ought to be increased.
