Zabor EC, et al. - Long-term renal functional recovery after the radical nephrectomy procedure for kidney cancer patients was studied. The data affirmed that a large proportion of patients recovered to their preoperative renal function following radical nephrectomy for kidney tumors over the long-term. The possibility of recovery was greater among those with lower pre-operative estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR).
