Han J, et al. - Herein, researchers aimed to discern the long-term results in individuals who underwent eye-sparing surgery accompanied by the radiotherapy for adenoid cystic carcinoma of the lacrimal gland. Favorable local control and long-term survival outcomes were yielded via eye-sparing surgery and adjuvant radiotherapy in patients with orbit-confined lacrimal gland adenoid cystic carcinoma. It was deduced that eye-sparing surgery with adjuvant radiotherapy could serve as a viable treatment option for orbit-confined lacrimal gland adenoid cystic carcinoma.
