Zotta PG, et al. - The purpose of this trial was to illustrate the long-term outcomes of corneal cross-linking (CXL) in pediatric patients with bilateral progressive keratoconus. It was reported that CXL (Dresden protocol) for pediatric keratoconus halted the disease progression. It yielded an improved visual function up to 7.5 years after therapy.
