Leong YH, et al. - Researchers sought to abridge the published data for the long-term outcomes of reirradiation with intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) for locally recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Based on the yielded data, it was disclosed that reirradiation with IMRT for locally recurrent NPC could confer long-term disease control and survival. However, it exhibited a link with prominent mortality.
