Tibbo ME, et al. - Authors determined the outcomes of hip arthroplasty in the setting of synovial chondromatosis, focusing on the disease-specific survival, implant survivorship and complications, and clinical outcomes. At a long-term follow-up, reliable pain relief and excellent disease-specific survival were achieved in patients who underwent arthroplasty with simultaneous synovectomy. Nonetheless, the revision and complication rates were noted to be high.
