Zhang N, et al. - Researchers performed this largest report with the longest duration of follow-up to date Long-term functional and survival outcomes of glioma patients following intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) application were assessed. Researchers retrospectively studied 856 glioma patients, who had tumor resection between October 2010 and March 2016. Outcomes suggest the benefits of IONM in terms of long-term functional and survival outcomes. The eloquence of glioma is no longer identified as an unfavorable predictor of overall survival.
