Espeland MA, et al. - Researchers carried out this study to ascertain whether long-term behavioral intervention targeting weight loss through increased physical activity and decreased caloric intake would alter cerebral blood flow (CBF) in individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus. In overweight and obese adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, long-term weight loss intervention was correlated with greater CBF.
