Versteeg GA, et al. - The intent of the authors was to illustrate the 5-year outcomes of a continuous treat-to-target (T2T) approach in the patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in routine clinical practice. A substantial improvement was brought to light in the functional disability and health-related quality of life during the first 24 weeks. Results demonstrated favorable disease- and patient-related outcomes due to the continuous application of T2T in real-life RA patients.
