Lu S, et al. - This study assessed clinical outcomes in a cohort of patients with total disc replacement (TDR) and the long-term survival rate of the prostheses. Findings suggested that it is possible to achieve long term satisfactory clinical results and good prosthesis survival. Also, the incidence of adjacent segment disease might be attenuated by lumbar TDR surgeries.
