Liposomal bupivacaine during robotic colpopexy and posterior repair: A randomized controlled trial

Yeung J, et al. - Authors here ascertained the effect of liposomal bupivacaine on postoperative pain among patients undergoing robotic sacrocolpopexy with posterior repair. In this work, incisional injection of liposomal bupivacaine during robotic sacrocolpopexy and posterior repair did not reduce postoperative pain compared with placebo. Consequently, for this surgical intervention, routine use of liposomal bupivacaine was not supported.
