Link between overweight/obese in children and youngsters and occurrence of multiple sclerosis

Rasul T, et al. - Considering the growing prevalence of obesity in the world, and the increasing number of multiple sclerosis (MS) cases, researchers examined the relationship between overweight/obese children and adolescents and later development of MS in this literature study. The literature survey revealed a link between being overweight/obese and the presence of MS among people below 20 years of age. The correlation seemed particularly true for young girls; in boys, the same relation appeared not significant.
