Shakoor D, et al. - Researchers ascertained the diagnostic performance of MRI and MR arthrography for depicting ligamentum teres lesions. They included the original studies reporting the diagnostic accuracy of MRI examinations for the depiction of ligamentum teres lesions. Of all MRI examinations, the sensitivity, specificity, and diagnostic odds ratio (DOR) were 64.7%, 86.9%, and 12.2, respectively. For MR arthrography examinations, the sensitivity, specificity, and DOR of were 82.2%, 88.6%, and 35.9, respectively. High accuracy depiction of ligamentum teres lesions could be possible with MR arthrography.
