Late gadolinium enhancement of colorectal liver metastases post-chemotherapy is associated with tumour fibrosis and overall survival post-hepatectomy
European Radiology Jul 11, 2018
Cheung HMC, et al. - Whether late gadolinium MRI enhancement of colorectal liver metastases (CRCLM) after chemotherapy was correlated with tumor fibrosis and survival post-hepatectomy was investigated in this analysis. Between 2006-2012, 121 surgical subjects who received preoperative MRI after chemotherapy were involved. Using relative intra-class correlation coefficients, inter-rater reliability was determined. It was observed that late gadolinium MRI enhancement of CRCLM after chemotherapy was correlated with tumor fibrosis and survival.
