Habicher M, et al. - Experts demonstrated their experience with laparoendocopic single-incision triangulated umbilical surgery (SITUS) utilizing straight instruments in a triangulated fashion, via 3 trocars placed through a single umbilical incision. An attractive alternative to conventional laparoscopy and a viable competitor to LESS surgery was the SITUS technique for pyeloplasty. Principles of traditional laparoscopy (conventional instrumentation and triangulation) and the benefits of single-port surgery were combined in it.
