The American Journal of Surgery Sep 22, 2017
Al-Temimi MH, et al. - Authors performed a comparison of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and laparoscopic common bile duct exploration (LCBDE) for managing choledocholithiasis found at time of cholecystectomy. Findings suggested LC/ERCP as superior in comparison to LCBDE in clearing CBD stones. LC/ERCP and LCBDE were similar regarding morbidity. Thereby suggesting LC/ERCP as an effective alternative for patients with RYGB.
