Berman N, et al. - The study is designed to determine the symptoms people with diabetes experience when having a myocardial infarction (MI), their illness narrative and how they present their symptoms to the health service. In this study, the patients rarely reported true absent chest pain during MI. Patients often reported attenuated symptoms that could result in a delay in seeking attention and in delays in receiving treatment.
