Schwager JL, Nevitt MC, Torner J, et al. - By analyzing participants from the Multicenter Osteoarthritis study cohort at risk of experiencing knee osteoarthritis (OA), researchers examined the link between total cholesterol, low‐density lipoprotein (LDL), and high‐density lipoprotein (HDL) and risk of knee OA. This analysis involved 337 cases with incident symptomatic OA as well as 283 cases with incident radiographic OA. In this study, a link between total cholesterol, LDL or HDL with OA outcomes was not supported based on the findings.
