Aly D, et al. - The authors resolved to discern the potential regulatory effect of vitamin D on IL-17 and their association with the disease activity in vitiligo. The inference drawn was that vitamin D was reflected as a potential player in the pathogenesis of vitiligo. It's possible regulatory connection with IL-17, along with it's weight as a screening tool in vitiligo, warranted additional exploration.
