Vitiello A, et al. - Researchers performed a retrospective study to compare 5-year results of Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy (LSG) and Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding (LAGB) at their Institution. They observed that in terms of %EWL, LSG achieved better results. However, the two procedures were not significantly different regarding comorbidities improvement. After LSG, the severity of complication remained higher. For selected patients, LAGB is still observed as a good option.
