Toohey LA, et al. – An appraisal was pursued of the findings with regard to the risk of sustaining a subsequent lower limb injury, different in nature or location following a previous injury. The results revealed that a previous injury of any type could raise the risk for a range of lower limb subsequent injuries. This ought to be taken into account for formulating prospective tertiary prevention programmes.
