Is smoking a risk factor for tinnitus? A systematic review, meta-analysis and estimation of the population attributable risk in Germany

Veile A, et al. - During this study, experts gauged the epidemiological correlation between smoking status and tinnitus. Additionally, they intended to compute the population attributable risk in Germany. A connection was discovered between smoking and tinnitus. Nevertheless, no evidence of a causal relationship was found. Findings unveiled that the population attributable risk estimate in Germany was 3.5%.
