Yalong D, et al. -Authors assessed if platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is better than hyaluronic acid (HA) in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. The mean age of the participants involved was 59.8 years. Results demonstrated PRP intra-articular injection of the knee might be an effective alternative treatment for knee OA, especially in patients with mild knee OA. Nonetheless, as per some studies which say the impact of PRP was no better than HA, this study found it wasn’t any worse.
