Torzilli G, et al. - A comparative analysis was conducted to determine if enhanced one-stage hepatectomy (E-OSH) is a safe and feasible alternative to the two-stage hepatectomy (TSH) in the setting of multiple bilobar colorectal liver metastases. For multiple bilobar deep-located colorectal metastases (CLM), E-OSH is a safe alternative to TSH. Whenever feasible, E-OSH is the preferred option because it has excellent safety and oncologic outcomes equivalent to completed TSH without the drop-out risk.
