Mao W, et al. - The researchers designed this preliminary study to examine the potential of intravoxel incoherent motion diffusion-weighted imaging (IVIM-DWI) for the assessment of renal fibrosis in chronic kidney disease (CKD), using histopathology as a reference standard. In the noninvasive assessment of renal fibrosis in CKD, IVIM-DWI displayed great potential.
