Werntz M, et al. - Whether intraperitoneal chloroprocaine may be useful as an adjunct to neuraxial block in reducing the proportion of patients that require conversion to general anesthesia due to severe intraoperative pain during cesarean delivery, was investigated in this current study. Intraperitoneal chloroprocaine may be useful as part of a multimodal approach to managing intraoperative pain during cesarean delivery.
