Intraoperative vascular neuromonitoring in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage: A pilot study using combined laser-Doppler spectrophotometry
World Neurosurgery Sep 01, 2017
Schmitz E, et al. – Authors performed this pilot study to examine the value of a novel non–invasive real–time measurement technique to detect changes in cerebral microcirculation in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Findings suggested the potential benefit of intraoperative combined laser–Doppler flowmetry and spectrophotometry for the prediction of postoperative clinical outcome in this small patient sample. They recommended confirming the results in a larger cohort.
