Keil H, et al. - Experts evaluated the difference between intraoperative 3D imaging and postoperative CT regarding reduction and implant placement in cases of acetabular fractures. Results demonstrated that in assessing reduction and implant placement in acetabular fractures, intraoperative 3D imaging was a valuable adjunct but had limitations due to artifacts caused by implant material. Missed malreduction and impairment of clinical outcome could be led by this, so postoperative CT ought to be considered in these cases.
