Intradialytic hypotension as an independent risk factor for long-term mortality in maintaining hemodialysis patients: A 5-year follow-up cohort study
Blood Purification Feb 07, 2018
Yu J, et al. - Risk factors, as well as the prognostic impact of intradialytic hypotension (IDH), was determined among maintenance hemodialysis patients. In these patients, IDH was identified to be an independent risk factor for long-term mortality. In addition, high risk of IDH was observed in patients with older age, high ultrafiltration rate, high level of serum N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide and β2-microglobulin, hypoalbuminemia, and shorter aortic root inside diameter.
