Cancer Management and Research | Oct 17, 2017
Ma J, et al. - In this study, authors searched for the relationship between cancer cells and stromal cells in carcinoma cell living microenvironment and elucidated the mechanism that interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1RA) blocks metastatic potential in colon cancer. In metastatic process of colon carcinoma cell, IL-1RA proved an important inhibitor. IL-1RA thus seemed a promising new therapeutic approach in inhibiting colon cancer with IL-1-producing patients.
