Cao C, et al. - This research encompassed an assessment of the clinical outcomes and patterns of failure after intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) for elderly patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). The findings demonstrated excellent results of treating elderly patients with NPC by IMRT. Distant metastasis persisted as the most cumbersome treatment challenge for elderly patients with NPC.
