Intensified neoadjuvant multimodal approach in synchronous liver metastases from gastric cancer: A single institutional experience

Ceniceros L, et al. - In this paper, a single institutional experience regarding intensified neoadjuvant multimodal approach in synchronous liver metastases from gastric cancer was reported. As per results, in selected patients, an intensified approach using induction chemotherapy (ICT) followed by chemoradiotherapy (CRT) in synchronous liver metastases (LM) from gastric (GC) or esophagogastric junction (EGJ) adenocarcinoma was feasible and could translate into prolonged survival times.
