Russell K, et al. - This inquiry was set up to assess the vaccine effectiveness (VE) against influenza viruses among older adults compared with younger adults over 5 seasons. For both the age groups, influenza vaccination provided similar levels of protection over 5 seasons. In all ages, lower levels of protection against influenza A(H3N2) was reported.
