Influence of temporal parameters of DCE-MRI on the quantification of heterogeneity in tumor vascularization
Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Apr 19, 2019
Crombé A, et al. - With a repeated-measures analysis of variance (or nonparametric equivalent), researchers examined the influence of temporal parameters on texture characteristics extracted from dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE)-MRI parametric maps. Participants in the study were 25 adults with soft-tissue sarcoma (STS), median age: 68 years. According to this prospective cross-sectional study, temporal parameters can influence the values of texture features extracted from DCE-MRI parametric maps, which can lead to variations in predictive model performance.
