Psychiatry Research Sep 07, 2017
Brañas A, et al. – Researchers performed this examination to investigate psychotic–like experience (PLE)–related distress using the Community Assessment of Psychic Experiences (CAPE). They found that only the effect of gender, and the interaction between the frequency of depression and gender, remained statistically significant using multiple linear regression. Depressive symptoms have different effects on distress according to gender. The results of this research might be beneficial for the implementation of prevention programs.
