Inflammatory response of macrophages and trophoblasts investigated using structured illumination microscopy and quantitative phase microscopy
Placenta Sep 04, 2017
Singh R, et al. – The objective of this study is to research the inflammatory response of macrophages and trophoblasts by utilizing structured illumination microscopy and quantitative phase microscopy. These outcomes recommend that the different cells which are responsible for the mother–fetus cross–talk, particularly macrophages and trophoblasts, respond differently to various inflammatory agents. High–resolution optical microscopy is appeared to be a live–cell friendly, helpful tool to assess sub–cellular mechanisms related to inflammation complications amid pregnancy.
