Prior DE, et al. - Here, the authors identified infections in patients with myasthenia gravis, dermatomyositis, and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy. Moreover, they examined the relationship between infection and immunomodulation. In this study, they showed the remarkably similar infection rates across the 3 diseases studied, also demonstrated their relationship to commonly used immunotherapies.
