Doom JR, et al. - Experts sought to assess the relationships between iron supplementation and iron deficiency in infancy and internalizing, externalizing, and social problems in adolescence. An association of iron deficiency with or without anemia in infancy was observed with increased internalizing, externalizing, and social problems in adolescence.
