A greater risk of developing certain autoimmune disorders was revealed among infertile men, in the years following an infertility evaluation. They illustrated higher rates of developing rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, thyroiditis, and Grave's disease. Prospective trials ought to target the confirmation of these associations and elucidation of the pathways between fertility and immunity.
