Decker PA, et al. - Although a link has been established between hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) and subclinical and clinical atherosclerosis, researchers focused on the importance of change in HGF and development of the atherosclerotic disease. They found that incident CHD was independently predicted by a change in the biomarker HGF in a large and diverse population-based cohort.
