Gjerde PB, et al. - The authors aimed to investigate whether the increase in serum high-density lipoprotein (HDL) level was correlated with less negative symptoms after 1 year of antipsychotic treatment in a cohort of first-episode psychosis (FEP) patients. They noticed that during antipsychotic treatment, an increase in HDL level was correlated with improvement in negative symptoms in FEP.
