International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases Jan 30, 2021
Mahmood SB, Ji Y, Peng Y, et al. - This study was sought to evaluate the relationship by reviewing the incidence of giant cell arteritis (GCA) after bisphosphonate administration. Researchers conducted a retrospective study using the medical claims data of elderly patients in the 20% Medicare random sample between 2008 and 2014 who had received zoledronate or ibandronate.
