Chenoweth JA, et al. - The incidence of delayed traumatic intracranial hemorrhage was investigated in older adults with head trauma, including those taking anticoagulant and antiplatelet medications. A low incidence of delayed intracranial hemorrhage was determined, thereby suggesting no necessity for routine observation and serial cranial computed tomography in these patients.
