Indian Journal of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery Oct 17, 2017
Tanveer U, et al. - This research dealt with the determination of the incidence and recurrence of patients with allergic fungal sinusitis, following the administration of topical steroids for 24 months. The incidence was disclosed to be (17) 18.9% of CRS, which was slightly higher as reported in previous literature. A variation could be seen in the endoscopic finding from CT scan finding. Steroids were recommended for at least 2 years to prevent recurrence in the case of patients presented with CRS.
