Murphy ME, et al. – The effectiveness of healthcare interventions, targeting patients particularly those with poorly controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), which sought to improve the glycaemic control and cardiovascular risk was analyzed in this study. The interventions for T2DM, in primary care, were better targeted at patients with very poor glycaemic control. It was noted that organisational interventions could be more effective.
