Wallace ZS, et al. - Herein, experts carried out an exploration of the temporal trends in the mortality of granulomatosis with polyangiitis-end-stage renal disease (GPA-ESRD) in a large nationwide population. Findings shed light on marked improvements in mortality among GPA-ESRD patients in the US. A substantial decline was reported in the cause-specific death due to cardiovascular disease (CVD) and infections, each, during the study period. These data possibly depicted improved management of both GPA and ESRD.
