Kamath–Rayne BD, et al. – The specialists presented the hypothesis that Helping Babies Breathe (HBB) training would improve resuscitation and essential newborn care interventions. They suggested that with the aid of HBB training, improvements in basic neonatal resuscitation and postnatal essential newborn care practices could be expected. Moreover, improvements in newborn care practices might need focused quality improvement initiatives for hospitals to sustain high–quality care.
